The Scarborough side
led inside five minutes when Willord found the target, but Arms soon
woke up and levelled through the returning Andy Martin.
The hosts went ahead for the first time when a Martin corner was
lashed home by leading scorer Damon Craig on the stroke of half-time.
The second half saw Star 2B level almost immediately through Exley as
keeper Dave Fish misjudged the ball's bounce, allowing it to run into
an empty net after missing his attempted clearance.
Pie reclaimed Star 2B's lead but the impressive Craig equalised again
to set up a grandstand finish at 3-3.
Unfortunately for the Whitby side, they cooked up another defensive
lapse and Pie made it 4-3 before Exley killed off any lingering hopes
of a Stakesby comeback with the fifth goal, three minutes from time.
