Stakesby Arms 1 - 1 Riskers

@ Showfield, Whitby
Referee - Andy Snowden

Adam Steele's 88th Minute half volley rescued Stakesby Arms to preserve their recent good form, but they will wonder how they didn't win a game they dominated for 80 minutes at the Showfield.
The home side pressed from the off and created various chances, but through a mixture of poor finishing and superb goalkeeping the Arms couldn't find a break through, whilst Fish at the other end was barely called upon in the first 45 minutes as the sides were level at the break.
The second half saw Riskers come into the game after the break and despite failing to test fish for 75 minutes they took the lead when a through ball evaded the Arms defence and despite Fish's fine first save the ball fell at the feet of delve who picked himself up to tap home the rebound for 1-0 to Riskers.
Stand in manager Paul Owen changed to 4 3 3 in an attempt to claw something back and was rewarded in the 88th minute when Brennans corner fell to Steele on the half volley who finally broke down the stubborn away resistance to rescue a point and keep the Arms bid for promotion well on track, although this can be looked at as a point gained, it should be seen as 2 points lost given the chances missed again in the first half.
