Stakesby had a day to forget as fellow promotion chasers Heslerton brushed them aside 4-0 to take the points.
The home side were infact reduced to ten men 15 minutes in as the home defender was dismissed for foul and abusive language, before the Heslerton skipper was very lucky to not follow his teammate to the dressing room after more abusive language to the referee, this time bemusingly only warranting a yellow card.
Heslerton did infact settle better and deservedly took the lead when Drydale was allowed all the time in the world to pick up a long pass, and turn Steele inside and out before sliding under Fish for 1-0 on 40 minutes.
Hoggarth had a guilt edge chance to get the Arms level but he scuffed his shot wide as the home side led 1-0 at the break.
Stakesby changed to 4-4-2 in the second half in an attempt to get back into the game, but were soon chasing the game as drydale netted his second of the afternoon on 55 minutes.
The game was all but over 8 minutes later when Drydale scored again as the Arms were undone again.
Stakesby then began to wake up and were awarded a penalty, but as was their day the resulting kick by Smith lashed against the bar and bounced clear with the keeper well beaten as Heslerton rode their luck.
Fish prevented it getting worse for the away side as he pulled off 2 one on one saves to keep the Arms slender hopes of a comeback on the cards.
The fourth goal arrived late on to put the gloss on a good performance by the home team, and one the away side will quickly want to forget, especially with these 2 sides set to meet on the 27th march in the Frank White Trophy Semi Final.
